• What is fDi Atlas?

• fDi Atlas, part of the fDi Intelligence division from The Financial Times Ltd, is an online location mapping tool, which allows you to view incentives, greenfield project flows, other statistics and analysis about a specific location to assist subsequent investment decisions.

  When considering possible investment locations and researching foreign direct investment opportunities globally, fDi Atlas is vital. Whether you are looking at foreign direct investment in North America, Europe, South America, Asia, Australia or Latin/central America fDi Atlas can help to make the decision process easier by giving you all the information you need in one place.

  Each unique location page provides you with a location fact file and related location articles. They also showcase the current incentives that economic development agencies/trade and investment agencies are offering to organisations considering investment opportunities in that area. In these difficult times investment promotion agencies are offering more incentives than ever in order to attract investment - our unique tool allows you to view them all in one place and helps you to save time and money in your corporate location search.

• How do I find a location?

• You can search for a country, region or city in a few different ways.

  1. Type your search term in the search box at the top right hand side of the screen or by clicking on the search tab in the top navigation bar. . You can use this to search for countries, regions and cities. Your search results will return each listing that contains your search term.
  2. Use the interactive map on the home page to drill down to the location you are looking for
  3. Use the agency A-Z to see and then view all the locations that are currently supported by an Investment promotion agency
  4. Search locations that are relevant to your industry sector by clicking on the sector tab in the top navigation bar and selecting from the drop down menu
