  • The Government encourages investments and offer tax incentives for R&D industries, among other areas.
  • Under the States jurisdiction, there are sales tax (ICMS) exemptions and specific benefits for investments in development areas.
  • Under the municipal level, there are real estate exemptions and services tax abatements. Therefore, many are the types of incentives available and they vary in accordance to the State’s priorities and the municipality’s initiatives.
